TMJ therapy is carried out by a qualified physiotherapist who specializes in treating TMJ problems. Treatment may involve various techniques including:

  • Exercises to strengthen and stretch the jaw muscles
  • Relaxation techniques to reduce stress, which can increase jaw pain
  • Adaptation of an individual bite splint to prevent teeth grinding

Please note that the costs of physiotherapy prescribed by a doctor are usually covered by your health or accident insurance. If you come to us without a doctor’s referral, self-pay prices are CHF 85 for a 30-minute treatment.
